Description: This artwork was inspired by a young traveller from California, who was our model for the day. I have abstracted the shapes of the body and dance movements of the model to form the composition in layers. This model brought a bold and dramatic presence. The rest is from my imagination, as well as my love of interesting plants and dynamic colour interactions.

Woman, body, dance, flowers, music, vibrance, dynamism, strong contrasts, spontaneity. Organic. Expressive Gestural Style.
Painted at a Friday morning Dynamic Drawing session at Byron Bay Australia. Finished in my studio.
Materials Used: Acrylic on canvas stretched over a timber frame. , complete with D-rings and strong adjustable cord. Unframed. Framing is not needed, as all sides are painted. Please see side view in additional images.
