Description: This artwork was inspired by the dancer Bacchi, our life model for the day. I have abstracted her body shapes and dance movements to form a layered composition. The rest is from my imagination and my love of beautiful colours moving over the surface of the canvas.

Expressive Gestural Style. Body, woman, dance, iridescence, flowers, music, blue, pink, green.

Painted at a Friday Dynamic Drawing session at Byron Bay, Australia. Finished in my studio.

Acrylic on canvas stretched over a timber frame. Complete with D-rings and strong adjustable cord. Unframed. Framing is not needed, as all sides are painted. Please see side view in additional images.
