Description: This original artwork was inspired by the dramatic live model Catalina, a young traveller from Chile. I have abstracted the shapes & dance movements of the model to form the composition. The rest is imagination & my love of beautiful colours!
Expressive Gestural Style. Dance, the body, woman, flowers, music, vibrance, dynamism red. Painted at a Friday morning Dynamic Drawing session at Byron Bay Australia. Finished in my studio. Materials Used: Acrylic on canvas stretched over a timber frame. complete with D-rings and strong adjustable cord. Unframed. Framing is not needed, as all sides are painted.
